Q. What is the difference in cost between mechanical die cuts and Cutout Maker electronic dies?
A. Mechanical dies range in price from approximately $40 – $105. Cutout Maker electronic dies range in price from $8 – $10 when you invest using Shape Credit CDs. If you invest in a Total Access Shape CD for 1 or 3 years the costs per shape is only $0.22!
REMEMBER: Cutout Maker electronic dies are scalable! Most electronic dies can range in size from 1” to 18”.
Q. How do I purchase additional shapes, fonts and collections?
A. You can order additional content from your authorized VariQuest sales specialist. The content options include: 1 or 3 year Total Access Shape CD, 20 or 125 Shape Credit CD, Fonts, and Collection CDs.
After you receive the CD, call the VariQuest Registration Center at 1-800-328-0585 to activate your new content.
Q. How will I select and purchase shapes?
A. You can invest in a Total Access Shape CD (offered in 1 or 3 years) that will give you access to all shapes (over 4,400!) available in our Design Center software.
Also, you are able to invest in a Shape Credit CD (20 or 125). These CDs will allow you to choose which shapes you invest in and own forever. These shapes will be activated using the Workroom Assistant tab on the Design Center and calling the VariQuest Registration Center.
Q. How will all teachers, volunteers, and administrators in my school know what shapes, fonts and collections we own?
A. Fonts that your school owns will appear when you choose the Letters, Numbers and Symbols button in the Design Center software. The collections will appear when you choose the Bulletin Boards button.
Shapes that your school has purchased and activated appear when you click “See My Shapes” in the Design Center software. Shapes that your school does not yet own can be seen when you click “See All Shapes Available” and will appear with a green background. If you invested in the Total Access Shape CD all shapes will be available!
